Sailboats Coming And Going was fun to paint. The Long Boat Key picture didn’t do it justice, so, I painted it. I took this one to the VA Nursing Home, Decatur, GA, for my Purple Heart, Bronze Star, WW II Army Veteran, father could enjoy during his stay. He was shot in the arm, and they took a bone from his leg and put into his arm. The painting disappeard from his room before he passed away in 2010 after surviving on a feeding tube for 4 years. He was 17 days short of 98 years old. All the doctors and nurses loved “Mr. Nolan”. Reward for the return of his favorite painting.
